About Us

By the grace of Almighty Allah Majlis-e-Isha’atul Qur’an (Registered Charity 1136124) has been running since October 1997 in Leicester, UK and is also known as Masjid Al-Khaleel.

The Masjid holds five daily prayers, Jumu’ah, Eid Salah and classes for boys and girls ranging from 4-15 years of age as well as other courses and classes .

The primary purpose of the Majlis was to record the authentic commentary (Tafseer) of the holy Qur’an onto cd’s for the enlightenment of the Urdu speaking Muslims worldwide. And now available on YouTube for your convenience.

On seeing the need of providing education for the coming generation of young Muslims; there is always a shortage of Madaaris to cater for the Muslim children; the Masjid has various Madrassa classes where children are memorizing the Qur’an and learning to recite it in the correct manner by our senior Graduate Sheikh Qari Zaid Tarapuri and other Teachers who take the training from him. The Madrassa also has classes in which they are taught day to day masa-il, aqaa-id, and Islamic morals.

We have had for the past 4-5 years a Darul Iftaa running in the same building which is managed by our Mufti Faraz Adam Sahib, this Darul Iftaa is dedicated for the wider Muslim community for their day to day masa-ail which has benefited hundreds by the grace of Allah.

All our ventures have, Alhamdu-lillah, been extremely successful and preliminary plans have been made to provide more services for the needy Ummah. There are many tasks to be fulfilled for the community. Allah make them easy and may our efforts be accepted. Ameen.
